Saturnine leading man who after a series of awesome perfomances apparently self-destructed.

Back sporting a grizzled visage and catapulted into leading character parts, the fellow has a charisma that really comes out of the screen at you. A tour-de-force in the Wrestler and even manages to steal The Informers in a five minute cameo. I hope the cinema can continue to find challenging vehicles for him.
