Two men murder a mutual friend and hide his body in a trunk in their New York apartment, then invite his father and other guests around for a party - just to see if they can get away with their crime without being detected.

The Master of Suspense is on top form here, using two experimental techniques....his first film in color and also shooting the entire movie in uninterrupted takes without any editing. Magnificent movie, I cannot praise it enough.
My personal favourite Hitchcock movie.
