The Crooked Sky

1957

Henry Cass
Director

Dull little crime quickie centered on a counterfeit money scheme operating in an airline. Has a few neat moments, but is pretty much filler, with a lacklustre lead in Morris and some poor supporting performances. Diffring seems to be having fun, but one would tend to expect more with Cass directing.

An independent production filmed at Merton Park and not one of their crime series, even if Bruce Seton is playing the police inspector.

Note: Bartrop is credited as "Penny," but Diffring calls her "Colette" throughout the film. Never released on DVD; these screencaps come from an off-air recording on TNT (way back before they did nothing but show Law & Order reruns).
