We Faw Down

1928

Silent 2-reel comedy short with Laurel & Hardy as husbands trying to evade their wives in favour of a night out. They claim they are off to a local show when in reality they are heading for a pre-arranged poker game. En route they pick up with a couple of young ladies. Little do they know that the theater they told their wives about has burned down...which means the boys will have some explaining to do when they get home!
The theme of this short was later re-worked into one of their finest pictures six years later in Sons Of The Desert (1934).
