Unique director ...actually unique isn't strong enough to give you an indication of this fellow's creative genius, Ken Russell films are the equivalent of finding a habanero pepper in your salad. His work is not for all tastes, but a Ken Russell film will grab you and shake you around for it's duration. I never met one I didn't like.
RIP Mr Russell.
