Intergalactic bad guys kidnap a local princess, but fail to eliminate her betrothed, Colwyn, who sets off in pursuit aided by a mottley crew of brigands.

Noble attempt at a new mythology with visiting bad guys from space and an amusing crew of scoundrels who assemble to combat them. Awesome production design and good imagination all count for nothing as the dialogue, plot and action are all so pedestrian. Interestingly Star Wars had similar problems in it's first cut, but George Lucas saved the film in the editing room.
