Normal all-American family (albeit with kids named Buck and Medea!) inherit a mansion from a long-lost uncle. They also inherit his collection of ghosts...

Slight but charming William Castle gimmick movie, where you can view or not view the ghosts with a modified 3-D viewer (Illusion-O), depending on your paranormal beliefs. Benefits from a wholesomeness and earnestness that also profoundly dates it as coming from the pre-cynical days of the early Sixties.Margaret Hamilton has the best moments, playing a witch of a different sort.

Remade, with better effects and a less appealing Zorba clan, as Thir13en Ghosts in 2001.
