Businessman tries to get from New York to Chicago and is thwarted at every turn, invariably by John Candy. Absolutely hysterical comedy from John Hughes with Martin playing it straight. Ending is a bit much on the holiday spirit thing, but the set pieces are up there with Airplane! ~ The Sloth

Utterly brilliant movie from start to end, and anyone who doesn't feel sorry for Candy in that penultimate scene in the train station where he makes that confession to Martin, isn't human. ~ The Lord
