Completely original punk comedy from Alex Cox concerning would be repossession man, Estevez. Highly recommended (especially if you like Coen Brother's films).
Los Angeles care repossession agents compete over the bounty for a lowly 1964 Chevy Malibu, a car with something odd in its trunk . . .
One of the best, if not the best, film of 1980s, the epitome of orginality that an independent film should be. Creative, funny and endlessly quotable, with some great performances, especially Stanton and Fox Harris, who gets one of the best speeches in film history. Robby Muller's cinematography gfives the whole thing a legitimacy and style it would otherwise lack, and it also has one of the finest time capsule soundtracks ever.
