The Game

The life of a wealthy businessman who has everything he could ever want in life is suddenly thrown into turmoil when his younger brother buys him a strange game for his birthday. Through a series of being forced-to-deal-with situations he wouldn't usually encounter in every day life, including a couple of near-death experiences, he must overcome all the obstacles along the way which includes the torment of his fathers' death many years ago.
This is one of those movies where you are not sure whether what you are seeing is real, or part of the game. It's an utterly fantastic concept and demands repeated viewings. Once you know the ending it all comes together and makes sense, but you do begin to wonder if the whole experience was just a little more than a bit co-incidental at times? ~ The Lord.

David Fincher's follow-up to Se7en sees jaded yuppie, Douglas, become embroiled in a sinister game. Clever, but very difficult to feel any sympathy for another of Douglas' obnoxious characters. ~ The Sloth.
