Naive boxer (The Flanagan Boy) runs afoul of his promoter's trophy wife (the Bad Blonde), leading to murder, etc.

Pretty good film, part boxing drama, part British riff on The Postman Always Ring Twice. Tony Wright is a tad too naive, but Sid James is great and steals the film. Quite a satisfying ending, too -- if the rest of the film had been that good, this would be a classic.
