Mild mannered village chemist becomes rich and famous when he invents an anti-smoking pill, much to the dismay of the government and the smoking industry.
Enjoyable but slight (and curiously neglected) comedy, very similar to The Man in the White Suit. Unfortunately it isn't quite robust or polished enough to compare with that film, though it has glimmers of comic genius. The infantile climax is an especial letdown. Reg Dixon is fine (and very Donald Pleasence-like) in the lead, but Belinda Lee steals every scene she's in as the sexy secretary/corporate spy.
