Rousing adventure produced by Sir Alexander Korda, starring his new discovery Sabu as Toomai, a young Indian boy who goes on an elephant hunt accompanied by Kala Nag, his own elephant. Co-Directors Robert Flaherty and Zoltan Korda won the prize for best director at the Venice Film Festival. The film was based on the story Toomai of the Elephants by Rudyard Kipling.
