Lacklustre adaptation of Dorothy Sayer's novel of the same name. Montgomery is far too dull and American to play the eccentric Lord Peter, though Cummings is OK as Harriet. She at least tries to be British; I guess Robert was too big a star to be bothered. Hicks makes a fine Bunter, though a decade or two too old. The rest of the cast is full of reliable British character actors, who make the film watchable, though unmemorable.
