An extended back story featuring Kate, an ex-boyfriend and an unwanted reunion with her mother in hospital leads the camp to suspect her as the prime suspect in the poisoning of Michael after he offers the last remaining ticket on his raft to Sawyer. Sayid leads Jack to the hatch to try and talk Locke out of trying to open it. Walt owns up to being the arsonist of the first raft.
